We are, first and foremost, a repair shop.
Back in the days when we were on the east side, on Soquel, when we told people trying to find us that we were next to the feed store (back when folks knew what a feed store was) we started repairing horns at our sackbut (look it up, here) factory and, what with the volume of instrumentalists at the time around Santa Cruz, we changed our sackbut factory to a repair shop.
Things took flight from there. Gradually, we added consignments, new instruments, a sheet music department, and band and orchestra instrument rentals.
Throughout the constant has been repairs.

And if there’s one thing that counts in repairs, it’s experience, something we have in spades. There’s hardly a brand or model of brass or woodwind that we haven’t had experience with.
